Our facilities at Ship Repair NZ are many, and we love to boast about them all as we are very proud of the service that we can offer our clients. We can handle any marine vessel of any size, and that starts with our slipways – yes, we have two!
The first can take up to 2000 tonnes and has many uses – it can be used for one large vessel or two smaller ones. Plus we have another slipway that can take 40 tonne. Between the two of them, plus our very efficient and qualified team, we have some of the quickest turnaround times available.
In recent months our large slipway has been used for many projects including some of our more publicised work, including the transformation of the of the 54m Damen Sea Axe Advantage which Ship Repair NZ played a huge role in.
Other projects have included the Barge Pohonui and the Bream Bay Tug. As with all of our projects, the turnaround time was efficient and the vessel back on the water when required, which for working boats is imperative with time away from the water decreasing earning potential.
