Spirit of New Zealand
The Ship Repair NZ team has managed a wide range of projects, from exclusive super yacht refits, to tug boats, tuna boats and everything in between.

General Survey, repairs, maintenance and modifications have been made to vessels like the Spirit of Adventure Trust’s Spirit of NZ. This steel built barquentine is square rigged on the foremast and operates as a Sail training vessel for Secondary School students and people with disabilities, from throughout New Zealand.

The refit included high quality wood work, rigging, sail making and painting as well as general survey maintenance and modifications. Spirit of NZ will again head to the Ship Repair NZ team in 2007 for its next schedulled refit.

SeaLink
Auckland’s SeaLink ferries have also had the Ship Repair NZ treatment. SeaLink is one of New Zealand’s largest privately-owned ferry companies, which started out as Subritzky Shipping in Auckland in 1960.

Since then the company has provided essential services in the Hauraki Gulf. In addition to its passenger and tourism operations, SeaLink provides vehicle transport and freight services to Waiheke, Rangitoto, Motutapu, Rakino, Motuihe and Kawau islands.
